Insight

This new start-up is a partnership of seasoned international consultants specialising in providing "first to market" insights and tactical services to those wishing to establish a business or conduct trade in post conflict territories and emerging markets.

Challenge

Ci was given an open brief to develop an appropriate name and visual identity for the new venture. Our primary challenge was to find a name that differentiated and reflected the nature of the Client business and one that was available for filing as a trademark in a number of conflict zones.

Solution

Our preferred name recommendation "emergent" was chosen unanimously by the partners and perfectly reflects the nature of the firm's client businesses and the territories in which they operate. Using this as a platform, we designed the corporate mark and visual identity, which was applied to a suite of stationery and marketing collateral. The design and articulation of the marketing communications and website has been kept as simple as possible in order to engage members of the business community in each of the client's active markets where many have a limited command of the English language.
